Wowza, it's almost mid-January and I kinda forgot to post this! So at the FurryMania forum [link] a new monthly calendar has started and the main theme this time is Videogames; I picked up January and chosen something that was simple enough to be completed in a few days before New Year's. The game illustrated is Taiko No Tatsujin, a japanese rhythm game that emulates Taiko drums, precisely, this should emulate a screenshot of the DS version of the game. I was torn between doing the title screen and an in-game screenshot, and went with the latter because there was more chances to put the FurryMania mascots in there. Unsure where exactly put them, I've tried to change everything into the mascots: textures, beats, characters dancing below. xD Look, I could even fit Chrys and Pineapple in it! 8D The thing I like the most in this piece is the texture background in the upper part of th screen, with the cute closeups. xP I should have saved it to use as a seamless texture for other things, but I haven't thought of that. I was also thinking of doing a GIF version of it with the characters and Don the drum dancing, but I changed my mind later. Oh well, enjoy! x3 Probably it's best to be viewed while listening to the game soundrack, anyway! (C) Battista, Furio, Greta: FurryMania. (C) Chrysanthemum, Pineapple, art: Me. Taiko no Tatsujin game is (C) Namco!
She just eats the sugar straight out of the bowl!
Stop melting my brain with cute and epic!
